Well I mean not date just to make a bond bigger than what is really there I mean I dont belittle anyother religions, and honestly I mean Not date once, but be a girlfriend and a boyfriend relationship but I honestly mean I consider and take everything in an open minded fashion, yet I mean honestly every religion comes from a root of another religion or is of the opposite opinion, so in reallity all religions are similiar or is created from ones opposite thought, so it shouldn't really matter about religion, Hate the sin, not the sinner.

If I understand the statement/question, I agree that in an ideal world, religion would not be a factor in relationships. But it is.

sarachina , to a Christian, it does matter, greatly. This teaching is not in the bible. God does love the person but not the sin, but, he is not open to his people believing in every religion that comes down the pike. He gave us his word, the bible, it is annointed teaching, to be believed and adhered to, not to be deviated from. We are to contend for the gospel that was given by the apostles. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth and the life, and no man comes to the Father, except by me.

v Religion and church

1) The common purpose of religion is to aid the entity in its search for Truth.

2) Each entity's level of development and understanding is different.

3) It takes many different styles of religion to accommodate the growth needs of entities at various times.

4) The value of a religion can be judged by its operation and intended accomplishments.

5) Churches exist for the benefit of entities.

6) Churches are to religion what a bathtub is to water.

7) They allow the entity an opportunity to soak in the fellowship of like-minded entities.

8) Churches also allow an entity a method through which to share.

In relationships it helps to be of the same religion so as to eliminate many of the problems that arise between people of differing views. It is possible for relationships to exist between people of differing beliefs but it does take a lot of work, patience and tolerance.

From my chosen path I stray,
Yet my God any'er turns away;
For I have learned -- and understand,
That where God is -- is where I am!
