Is it normal to have tender breasts while on your period?

My breasts are always very tender and sore 2 – 3 days before and during my periods. Its gets so bad that I can’t sleep on my sides. And I end up not wearing a bra. Is this normal? Or should I see a doctor about this?

Answer #1

It’s completely normal. Most women experience the same thing during their period, including me.

Answer #2

It’s very normal. That being said it’s never a bad thing to see a doctor when it comes to your breasts. Also they might have some advice on how to help the pain. Then adding to that, try some exercise while they hurt so much, that is the only thing that really helps for me when I have that much pain from my period. Also a magnesium supplement might also help for the pain somewhat.

Answer #3

Most women have tender bodies while on their period. You will be more sensitive, and pain will be more.. painful.

Answer #4

Yes, it is definitely normal.

Answer #5

I agree with everything but running to the doctor, or this would be every month.

Answer #6

No, you go once to make sure everything is fine and for some general advice. You don’t have to go every month.
