I dont have sound on my computer unless I restart it and start up the internet right away...
im guessing my sound only works through the internet..but if I x out of the web and click open a new window I'll have no sound..

I dont think its the sound card because its new. but I wouldnt know..

should I just call a computer person or is there anyway to fix it myself

Hi,

This could be any number of things Bugs but here's a quick tip to rule out the a problem with the speakers - plug some headphones into your headphone socket on the PC (you should have one) and see if there is any sound from those. If not then it's a problem with a operating system settings I would guess.
