There is no difference. Were you specific on how you wanted the cut? If you were and you didn't receive your money's worth, I would go back and speak to the groomer. Especially on a Shih Tzu, their hair can be kept long but also short which is more of a logical thing to do since you won't have to re-touch the cut all the time. I hope you have better luck next time.
