Dogs ears

Asked by kthopkt1111 about 1 year ago, 5 answers.

My dog just had her ears cleaned out by a vet because she had a really bad yeast infection. The hair around her ears is really long and it think it might help if I cut it. Should I cut the hair around her ears?

Well I dont know a lot about that but you should only cut it if a vet has approved.

I suppose you could, just as long as you're careful.

definitely. yeast infections are sometimes caused on dogs because of the hair getting into the dog's ear and causing infection. trip the hair enough for it not to get into her ear. but be VERY careful. take your dog to a groomer.

Absolutely...or even better, take her to a groomer and ask them to get the hair out of her ears...a groomer can all the hair inside and outside, leaving them nice and clean and airy...Yeast infections are caused by no air getting to the iiner part of ears...
