new school new people

Im leaving my home place which is miami florida and im gong to seaford,delware to live with my mothers side of the family and im sort of scared because everythings going to be new and new people faces im not familiar with and im scared if I cant make...

friends but the best thing I got is to be myself which is what I've always done but please give me some advice.

First, ANYONE would be a bit scared / aprehensive in a new situation of which they're not familiar - but of course that won't last once you get involved, making new friends, getting settled - so go make some new memories - you'll be just fine !!

I felt the same way when I moved to a new school and new neighborhood. The best thing to do is join a sport or some kind of activity you like and that way you can starting talking to people that have something in common with you. That is always an easy way to make new friends. Also, start talking to people in your classes or people that live near by you. It won't be as bad as you think.

I moved from rockland,maine which I grew up and lived for 15years before imoved to athens, georgia, to live with my moms side of the family, it was really hard because I in just that one year I went to 3 differernt school

this is a great opportunity to start in a new place where nobody knows you... so you can be anything you want to be... probably you will not fit in, in the beginning but use your differentnesss to your advantage... im sure you will be fine..just be yourself and people will like you : )
