How should i go aout socialising at my new school?

ok well im going to a new school and to me this means a new start for eerything I already know people that go to this school so I reall wont be that lonely
all I want to know is how to be out going and noticable like how should I dress and things such as...

that I also want to know how should I act like should I try to make friends as soon as possible or should I wait and just observe people likei usually do
BUT USUALLY that comes off as snobbish or stck up since im soo quiet around new people or people that I dont know
pleeez help im starting this new school in 1 week I need some GOOODD ADVICE

well, of course there be classes and stuff. meet people in your classes. therefore you know that there in the same grade and stuff.just talk to peple in class there will be friendly ones who will talk to you and ask for you to sit at lunch with them..

Be yourself. I was in a military family that moved every 2 years, and I was always excited to start a new school because you get new friends and can make a new image. However I always just went with being myself. I always had lots of friends, few best friends, and good grades. I was smart and could have skipped a grade, but then I wold have been the youngest in all my classes and said no thanks. That would have been way worse.

So, in short, from all my 18 years of education experience, BE YOURSELF and you will get noticed. And if people think you are a bit snobbish, try and SMILE while you are observing. See who smiles back.
