How can I make my new puppy's adjustment home easiest?

Bear, Romeo, and Ruby Asked by gvellianitis about 1 year ago, 4 answers.

How long does it take for a 3 month old chihuahua to adjust to a new home and how can I make it easier and less traumatic for him other than giving him lot's and lot's of love and attention. I know he'll be really scared and confused, being seperated from his mom and his siblings, when I bring him home and I just want to make it as easy for him to adjust, as I possibly can!

if you have a warm bottle thingy and an alarm clock wrap it in a towel or something and put it in the puppies on lil bed (this takes place of the momma) and it will work even if he is three months

They adjust in no time. My Chichuahua was 3 1/2 months old when we received her. She sures makes a lot of noise for one so little! She is Queen of the house. Just give her love and some attention. Treat her as part of the family.

give him lots of love and attention and maybe give him a few toys to play with. Whatever you do, DO NOT FEED HIM COMMERCIAL DOG FOOD!! IT COULD KILL HIM!! Commercial Dog Food has euthanized pets, dead zoo animals, roadkill, ID tags, flea collars, pet collars, animal cr*p, and other deadly chemicals in it! (No lie!!) So don't feed him commercial dog food, and just love him. Dogs always love and crave attention from you. I never had a dog before and I don't have one now, but I know a good share of information. This is the kind of dog I'm getting: It's a Great Pyrenees. Hope everything turns out okay!!
