Never met family... until now

My dad is going out of town for the weekend to earn some sort of degree thing for teaching. I dont realy know the details.
So for 5 days and 4 nights im going to arizona! But the problem is that im staying with an aunt and cousins I've never met... And...

im so nervous!
Has anyone here ever done something like this? Howd it go?

yes I had to go to go to Arkansas for a family reunion with my dad and I barely know my dads side. when we got there I had to spend the night over my aunts house { who I barely know} and it was weird cause I was not home and it was different there than at home. are you going there with anyone that you know. if so then just hang out with them. or try to go outside when you get there and try to make some friends. then next time you go back there you will have someone you know. thats all I can think of right now. or if you don't want to make your own friends then try to make friends with your aunts kids { your cousins} and you should have a good time.

just be yourself its family try to make it work and have fun and everything will be ok. I was scared to when I had to meet new people in my family but now I love seening them I go c them every summer now so you can do.
