Need help on my lip piercing please

Ok my friend did her lip and my lip and it hurt like woahh
And I got it yesrtday... And im kind of scared

1.) is it normal if the lip gets puffy/fat than the other side of the lip were I didnt get it pierced? Because mynes like that and im freaking out
Its kind of on the bottom of the lip on the left side

After the piercing happened because mynes like that and people are saying I don't know I dont think it shud b fat and stuff

2.) can why ou eat normally?

3.) wut shud I use to clean the lip time to time

okay listen its fine that its puffy it will even get white puss on the back side or the soft inside of your lip its totally normal so dont worry...rub peroxide on it and swish with mouth wash about 3 times a day(after each time you eat) to avoid infection. it will be fine I promise

...the swelling is completely normal. it will be swelled up for at least 3 days and then go down, so dont worry about that.
... theres also a pretty high risk of infection if you and her did it yourself, because your not a qualifyed peircer and only know how to stick a needle through some skin. peircing is a lot more than that.
...you can eat the foods youd norally eat.
...to clean the lip try a sea salt soak. get a cup of warm water and add a table of sea salt in it (sea salt can be picked up at your local supermarket) and keep your lip in it for about 15 minutes a day for a few, or weeks even.
...its important that you dont play with it a lot or try to change it.
lip rings take on average 3+ months to heal, and its not advised that you take it out for at least 2 months.
...if you follow these rules you shouldnt get any infection.
remember puss is also normal, your body makes puss to help heal the wound.

I have my lip pierced...and just so you know it is completely normal to have swelling...you just had a neddle stuck through it..your lip is a little pissed! Never clean it with peroxide..you should clean the outside with purified ocean salt water such as H2Ocean...and to clean the inside use mouthwash
