Hey guys, okay here's the thing- My mom doesn't like me having boyfriends but I personally love having them! she always tells me to stay away because she doesn't want me missing out on things and when I tell her it's okay I'll be careful and all that she still doesn't want to hear it...she told me yesterday she knows about this guy I'm dating and we had a really big pep talk about it...she still doesn't like it and now almost every "relationship" I have has to be kept secret from her...I feel bad but it's her faultt!!! Right? what should I do???
tell her because he will feal aquord about him not meeting your parents and it makes you worrie all night about if shes going to find out or do you have another day to tell her another lie just so you can c him...my mom hates the idea of my boyfriend because im almost 15 and hes 17 and she always thinks we are up to something bad and I have to keep it from my dad so really im doing the same thing as you but I think my dad knows because hes always around me and he gives me his jacket when im cold...I got a question for every1 my boyfriend just got a job and we can never talk anymore since he is on the job about to go to the job or is too taird to talk after the job I really really love him and dont want to loose him because I can c him bing my husbent one day but I never c him anymore or get to talk to him any ideas???
Your only 13! Your mom just has your best interest, you have to believe that. Also, hiding it from your mom will only make the situation's worse. In order to be able to date, you have to prove to her that you can be responsible, that you wont fall behind in school, and that you are mature enough to be in a relationship. Lieing to her, will show none of that, and you will lose her trust and respect.
Your Mom is right - she's been there and knows the dangers at your age - obviously looking after your best interests, loving you, and Cares - many, many, Don't - be Thankful !!
Keeping my boyfriend a secret from my mom soon became my worst nightmare you can't lie for ever. Besides your 13 so you mom still wants to protect you
