My smoking friend

My best friend just said that she smokes and I am the only one she told. She and another person go out and smoke sometimes. She is only 12 and she said if I told anybody that she would not be my friend and she would never forgive me! Help please!!

Write an anotymous letter to someone like her mom or sibling. She can't blame you if it is anotymous. Besides, when you smoke, you lose 10 years of your life. I'm sure you want her to live a long happy and healthy life.

I'm sure there's some cute guy she like, right? Tell her that you heard him saying her breath stunk like an ashtray.

The only way to get a 12 year old to stop being self destructive is to make them feel self conscious about it - even if you have to fib a little.

I can definetly relate.im friends with a lot of skaters.and the all smoke weed.the ask me to get high and stuff with them and I tell them no because t is absolutly UNHEALTHY.
I would never be friends with someone thatr would threat me like that.
I would tell somebody.
or its going to get worst.

okay im 12 yaers old and I dont think I can see my self smoking, well peer pressure is probably the problem or maybe she watched her parents smoke or just see teens doing it but you do know in a lot of ways smoking can do to your body, go on to the computer and you can make a little presentation find info. on smoking and how it harms then get pics. of what itll look like when she smokes _(internal body) then when you show it to her and she might get scared or quit and I know shes your bff or boyfriend or just f but if she dont understand the presentation then sit down with her and talk about how you dont want to lose her if she dont stops then I guess the only way you can help her from getting cancer or dying is if you talk to her parents personally!
