Should i go get a lip stud when i pierce my lip?

Piercing my lip by myself. Hopefully I wil wait till next week so my friend kat can shove the nail thru my lip. I couldnt get the hoop thru when I used a pin. Should I go get a lip stud?

I dont think that you should be piercing your own lip. Besides it being very painful, you can give yourself an infection or worst, create so much demage that you'll need serious medical attention. Why aren't you letting a tattoo shop pierce it for you? Also, if you do decide to let a professional do it, I say go with a titanium stud. I will not recommand that you do this yourself. Please reconsider!

you are right I probly should. I have no comon sence. I only need like 20 more bucks to go get it done. it did not hurt at all

wait to get it professionaly done my friend done it her self and it has been swealed for like 2 monthes and is infected ... yeah lip studs are awesome

you have no experience, neither does your freind
peircing is a lot more than shoving a sharp object through your skin
a nail is highly unheigenic, no to mention much too blunt
and pins are silly as well
actual peircing jewelry wont fit though any pin hole
get it done profesionally, preferable with surgical steel jewelry
dont risk infection, getting it crroked, hitting a nerve, more healing time ect
you said you had no commonsense, its time to start using it!

I just did mine myself and yes you should go get a piercing stud they only cost about a dollar and you get two. after you freeze your lip mark where you want it and then it's easier if you have someone else push it through have them push it through quickly. u'd think it would hurt but it doesn't and I can not tollerate any pain and it didn't hurt me but leave the stud in for a few days till it heals or when you take it out you wont be able to find the inside hole and once it's healed you can switch a lip rind or ball or what ever.
