Lip piercing getting stuck in my lip.

I got my lip pierced four days ago and its pretty healthy. It hasn't swelled much at all and I clean it regularly enough, but it gets stuck inside my lip sometimes.

I have a stud, obviously, and it will slide into my lip when I'm sleeping, and I can...

push it back out, but it really freaks me out. The piercing hole is almost the same size as the stud.

Can I put tape or something around it to prevent it from sliding in, or what?

I don't know what to do about it.. but she said she left it out for a little bit so the swelling goes down. but not long enough for it to close..and now its fine

how old are you and I would have a doctor check it out if I were you to see if enything was wrong with it

I'd go get a bigger bar
or a bigger stud
go talk to the place you got it pierced at and ask what they think you should do.

if youve got a normal labret in it
(the one with the screw on ball or spike)
the only reaosn why it would do that is if the backing is too small
if theres soemthing else in there like an earring stud
your lip will continue to eat it up and youll be left with a pretty dicgusting big gaping hole
but with the labrets, its normal for there to be an indent in the back of your lip
from the backing constantly resting on it
but if the hole is pretty big or deep
get one with a wider backing
