My dad doesnt like me wearing eyeliner

so I came home today with eyeliner on...I've been wiping it off before I got into the house before..and he was like ooo I forbid you to wear makeup its for girls and its gothic and your not gothic and what not. now I can tell by his voice that he was...

kinda joking...im still gunna wear it but...plus I am kinda gothic .. any way do you think hell get use to it and wont care after a lil bit? or will he just continue to dislike it and disaprove?

Explain to him that a lot of guys where eyeliner. Let him know that it DOESN'T just have to do with goth/emo stereotypes. Some people just like eyeliner. Makeup has become a unisex thing, meaning guys AND girls wear it. It's not weird, gay, scary, freaky or anything along those lines. If you want to wear it, keep wearing it. And if he was only joking, I REALLY wouldn't worry about it because he was probably just messing with you and honestly doesn't care. Besides, it's your face so it's your choice. Do as you please, don't let ANYONE change you. Hope this helps you, if you need anything else, let me know.

I think if you tell your dad that you wanna where it and it is your body you can do whatever to your body you please he will get over it. it is your desicion not your dads.
