Is white-ish stuff coming out of a naval piercing normal?

I've ahd my bellybutton pierced since march .
march break.
when I first got it done nothuing game out of it and it was fine, it was just a bit red.
but like, about three weeks later white stuff started coming out of it.
and its been happening ever since...

and it wont go away
like 6 MONTHS?
if it is an infection
youd think id be dead by now?
but its not red.
it doesnt hurt
I can move it around fine and it doesnt hurt at all
and its not swelled or red .
it just when I push the barbell thing down to put cleaner on it a bit of white stuff comes out of the hole, im scared im gunna die or something

okay,try this:
Take hydrogen peroxide;;or rubbing alcohol.
and pour a bit on your peircing,wherever the white stuff comes out of.
It should bubble.This will clean it out.
Do that a few times a day for idunno,a week.
if it doesnt stop,see a doctor,Immediately.

Mine did the same type thing for a while...I used Sea Salt...I soaked it twice a day and mine cleared right up...
