You have to believe Jesus came to earth as a baby and grew up not to condem the world but to show us the way to get to heaven!

God sent his only son to be cruxified by man, God could have taken His son from the cross and Jesus could have decided No I dont want to die for all these people why should I?
But he did'nt and a good job too! cause then satan would have won the battle and we would all be lost to him with no hope.

Do you really think that the pharasise got it wrong and killed Jesus by mistake? You need to pick up the Bible and start reading it, before you make comments like that !! It really saddens me when I read comments like that.

Do you know what the Bible is? Do you think it is a fairy tale book? NO it is Gods way of communicating with us each word in the book is his direct word to you!

God so loved the world (You and me too) That he gave us his only begotten Son, who ever believes in him shall not die but have everlasting life in heaven found in John:3-16

Those who are non believers and satan worshippers shall be cast down into the lake of fire. When Jesus returns only those who believed and followed him will be gathered and taken to heaven, the earth shall be destroyed and all those left will die.

You cannot! see him and say to him on that day Lord I did not believe in you but now I see you I believe His reply will be to all non believers:
Assurdley I say to you, I do not know you. Found in Mathew 25:12

God the Father has given all of us a choice!
Let me see , believe and live for ever in Gods presence or Burn and die because of ignorance and self importance.

don't listen to everything the MAN has to tell you, you want to get into heavan, trust in yourself an you will get in. Me, I don't believe in heavan, I really wish I did but what can you do. I agree when she says every religion is probably wrong...listen... there is about 4000 religions in the world all different but all with one thing in common: think their going to save the world. this is just a question I threw out there. I don't believe that you must be saved to go to heaven. I believe in heaven and hell but do not believe that it is up to any person to make the determination as to who goes where.

yea you need to believe that Jesus Christ died for you, in order to go to heaven you can't just trut in yourself

God being pure cannot even look upon sin - man, even in his very best state is a sinner - on judgement day, either: your sins are covered by the blood-shed sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross (salvation and only salvation - being a nice person isn't good enough - even at our very best, we are but filthy rags), and remembered no more or they are not (your sins are not covered) - where God's great love comes into play is, He provided a WAY (Jesus) for us not to perish and live in Heaven with Him (He certainly didn't have to do this but did because He loved us so) - if you read carefully John 3:16, this is exactly what it says - each person will either accept or reject, you must decide for yourself and yes, it's so important, it has eternal consequences - He Loves you and wants you to accept God's free gift to man - Jesus.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think christians believe that people of the jewish faith go to hell because they don't believe Jesus Christ was the true son of God.

A Christian believes as the Bible clearly states, ANYONE who does not have Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior are not Heaven-bound - see John 3 : 16 - it says 'Whosoever (regardless of religion) believes in Him (Jesus) will not perish...Hope this helps !!

Jesus said: 'I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. No one can come to the Father except through me'. So, for Christians, the SURE way of getting to God in life and in death (death being the heaven part) is to come to Jesus. Turning from going your own way and giving Jesus your life is what being 'saved' means to a Christian. Amblesed's answer describes this in more detail.

Later on in the New Testament it is written that we are to be judged on what we have known. So Moses and the Ancient Hebrews are judged according to the Jewish Law that God gave them. A person living in circumstances where they never hear the news about Jesus will also be judged according to their own standards.

But the question is, how many of us meet our own standards? We sometimes feel we have let ourselves down, let alone God. This is why having Jesus to bring us to God is described as 'saving' us, because being judged according to our own moral laws usually leaves us looking pretty bad. Christians believe only Jesus is perfect, so only He can save us.

Maybe other people do get to Heaven following judgement according to what they have known - the Bible implies that this is possible. But I believe Jesus whe He says He is the Way.
