Will ice cold water help a sore muscle?

ok so my claf muscel hurts. Will soaking my legs in ice cold water heal the pain?

Not really. Ice is used to bring swelling of inflamed tissues down. The cold contracts the tissue. For your calf muscles the best thing would be heat. Take a nice long hot bath and just relax your legs.

Yes cold will help a sore muscle. It Reduces inflammation and reduces swelling. It also gets rid of the latic acids which cramp your legs. After you have iced your legs use heat to sooth the muscles and relax. Hope I helped
