From a piercing site:
Brush with BIOTENE toothpaste twice daily and rinse your mouth out with BIOTENE mouthwash twice daily. We stronly advise you not to use Listerine or Scope as both contain alcohol and dry out oral tissue.
I can only give the advice I have gained from my Tattooist and his wife who does the piercings…they still recommend Listerine. If you need to you can dilute it…or you could try the BIOTENE. I have looked on other piercing sites and have seen the same advice. I have used Listerine all my life and haven’t had any adverse effects. It contains 8% alcohol.

I’d recomend Listerine. That helps.
Biotene because it’s less harsh and doesn’t have the high alcohol content of Listerine. I promise.
