my mom has moods like everyone else, but hers are extreme. When she's angry she's furious amd when she's sad she's practically bawling her eyes out...
how do I help my mom avoid these moods?

You should try to make her happy and think about the good things! If that doesn't work than try a therapist

Talk to someone you know about it, preferably an adult, ask their advice and if that does not work encourage your Mum to go to a therapist for her own benefit.

She may be going through an emotional stage in her life, give her lots of support.

All the best,

Those mood swings dont sound normal, she could be going through menopause, she could have a mood disorder, who knows... maybe try to convince her to see a doctor...
