Would it better to get a male or female dog in this situation?

My parents have a male pomeranian/chihuahua puppy and an older female lab/cross and wish to get another pom/chi, would it be better to get a male for female.

If you want pups to sell or raise get a female but... if you don't want that responsibility cause it's a lot then get another male!!

Well because you have a female it would probably be safer to get a male because 2 females will more then likely attack eachother but it could happen with 2 males also, If the male is a nice temperd dog then it would be better to get a male! But you think the female is better temperd then it would be safer to get a female dog, You'll have to judge the situation to determain weather the male or female would be calmer with a dog of the same sex!
