Does a lip hole close up or stay there forever?

When you get your lip peirced does the hole close up like a earring hole or it stays there forever!!

I used to have my lip pierced and took it out 2 years ago, you can STILL tell where the hole was, I hate it. It's closed up but the hole is still visible.

It depends on how long you've had the piercing in for...

If you have it in for a few years then year it'll close up, but if you've had it there for a REALLY long time theres a chance that it won't close up much like an earring hole.

like in the above anwser there will ALWAYS be a scar where it was...

I agree whit the obove, if you had a long time pierced then it may take a long time, but it will eventually close up.

But also the whole is noticed, I had it pierced for almost 2 years and the mark is still there, so it does close up but you can see that you had a lip piercing.

that shit stays there forever, I've had mine for 4 years it's not leavin' and I odn't mind, if your deciding to get one and do, don't regret it lol
