How can i get a lip ring without my mom's permission?

I really want to get my lip pierced. I either want a ring on just one side or snake bites. I'm 14 and I already gauged my ears with 14G barbells and I'm planning on going to a 12 and then 10 etc but my mom doesn't approve of this and she doesn't even...

know I gauged my ears but I know she will make me take them out. How do I convince my mom to let me get my lip pierced if she doesn't even let me gauge my ears? Also if I want to get it done anyway without her consent do I need a parent there with me? and if I do, can it just be an adult and not my parent?

I would listen to your parent...she loves you and is looking out for your best interests.....you might ask her why exactly she doesn't approve, then you'll know her reason/s....it is not right to go behind your parents back, but it's up to you to do the right or wrong thing....if desired, you can have it done at 18 (adult)

Almost all piercers have to have some kind of consent form filled out for minors that logs the adults name and drivers license number BECAUSE of these type of situations. That way if a child gets a piercing or tattoo done without a parent's consent they can track the person that was present with you.

In some states it is illegal without PARENT consent. And the parent can press charges/fines against the piercing/tattoo parlor and the person who consented.

Your parents are responsible for you and your actions. So you should wait until you are 18.

I used to pierce ears at a mall and I used to HATE filling out the consent forms. because thats when people would freak out because of what is in the fine print.

what happened with me was I wanted my nose pierced and my mother, like yours, did not approve of it one bit and did not even consider the way I felt about the whole deal. So, i did it myself and majorly made her mad. But I didn't take it out because I went through the pain to do it and bought nose studs and everything so I wasnt gonna take it out.
If you want it done professionally, someone has to sign a permission form. For example, you could easily say that your boyfriend was your older brother that you live with because your parents died and put down his address and phone number and everything if he's old enough to pass as something like that.
If she tries to make you take it out, thats too bad. Because if you get it done, its your responsibility to keep it clean and not looking all nasty and crap. The worst she could do would be rip it out of your lip, but I dont know any decent parent who will inflict pain on their child for something as dumb as ripping your lip ring out.
Get it done and if she throws a fit, tell her Its my body and its what I like. Why don't you just learn to love me for who I am and not what you want me to be?

sheesh just listen to ur mom..shes right..its better to have permission than to sneek around..and almost every place that does peircings u have to be 18 without a parent to sign ..i got my nose peirced when i turned 15 and my mom didnt like the idea she still doesnt like that i want to get two more sets on my ears..but try to explain some stuff to her..and in my opinion gauging ur ears is like so gross wat is cool about that?

appreciate your parents and listen to them. they did a lot for you so the least you can do is do as they say. you should make your parents proud of having a kid that actually respects them...so just listen to your parents..they're the only ones who are always going to love you no matter what.

just listen to your mom. theres no way to hide a lip piercing and it's gonna hurt like hell either way. it's great that you're at 14g in your ears and all, and even better that your mom hasn't caught on yet, but unless you do your lip yourself, or get a friend to do it, theres pretty much no way. i know its gonna hurt, not cuz i've pierced my lip, but i've done my belly button, which hurt real bad cuz i had no pain killers(and i don't have it pierced anymore) and just a few days ago actually, i pierced my septum.(which my parents don't know about) i hurt a lil, but not bad cuz i popped 3 aspirins. gauging your ears doesn't hurt NEARLY as bad as a new piercing. i would know cuz i gauged my ears from 18s directly to 10s. so anyway, to answer your question, yeah, you CAN get it w/out your mom's permission, just not professionally, and i would strongly advise against doing it, cuz there are alot of risks involved. just suck up to your mom real bad and beg, i know it sounds pathetic, but after a while, it might pay off, and if she gives in it'll be alot better than her seeing it as an act of ignorance, or a DISOBEDIENCE. OR you could do it the hard way and not wear it around family and then, about every half hour or so go to the bathroom or something and put the ring through it so it doesn't close up. but the hard way will hurt more and probably wont work very good. i umm...hope this helped.

nah u dont need your parents there it just has to be some1 18 so if u no any1 old enough hav them bring u.. and if the piercing place dont need parent advisory then that place is too sketchy in the first place and u shouldnt mess with them. and one more thing if ure ma dont want u gettin it dun wat u think she gona say wen she sees it. if she makes u take it out it'll be all that $ and all stress n pain of it 4 nuthin.

I have the exact same problem. I REEEAAALLLYYY want to get snake bites, (and my nose pierced), but every time i beg my mom for it, she says,I don't want MY daughter full of holes! Yeah, I know, it's stupid. But what you can do is starting to try to be really nice to my mom, I'm doing most of the chores,
and trying to get good grades. Or, you can do the best choice, which i am going to do.
you can go to walmart, and in the earring and jewelry section, you go to the counter where they have ear piercing, and you can actually buy an ear piercing gun. ( you know, the one they use when they pierce your ears.) It comes with a set of earrings, (u can get studs, or any type of earring that you want) It's like 20$. BUT, i don't know if you have to have parent permission or not. I doubt it though, since they aren't responsible for what happensto you if you get one and do it yourself. It DOES come with instructions on how to do it, and where to put the earring, Etc. BEWARE: IF YOU BUY THE GUN THING, DO NOT LET YOUR MOM OR DAD SEE IT OR SEE YOU BUY IT. NOT ONLY WILL THEY TAKE IT AWAY FROM YOU AND PROBABLY GROUND YOU, YOUMIGHT NEVER BE ABLE TO GET ANOTHER PIERCING AGAIN.

you can go to a store and but clear plugs for you are lip an just dont wear the ball around your mom!!! an as far as getting your lip done at a tattoo place all you have tto do is get the paper work an have some one sign your moms name and bring it back an get your liop done!!! I gauged my ears an now I can put a pencil through them!!! its fun!!!

I live in the UK where you need to be 16 but im only 15.. if you look old enought they won't ask for consent. My mum hates piercings as well, but I have small plugs, my hips pierced, my belly pierced, my cartilage pierced twice and the inside part of my ear pierced and she doesn't no haha..

I dunno if you'll be able to hide a lip piercin but if you manage it let me no how because I want to get ma toungue done

take someone with you that is a lot older than you and get him or her to say that thier your mum or dad, tats what i did when i got my belly done, or if you look old enought go n gt it done and say that uve forgot your Id, thats wot i did wen i gt my tattoo,

Okay, first off gauges and piercings are defffinately NOT gross. I have my ears gauged at a size 4 and im not done gauging them. and to be honest piercings hurt LESS then gauges so I don't know what that person is talking about because I pierced my ears myself with a needle and it still hurt less than gauges.

Anywhoo I'm a 13 year old girl and I do bad things behind my parents back, I gauged my ears and my parents dont know and I have my nose pierced also. a lip ring may be difficult to hide unless you know how to properly hide it like getting the clear piercings to wear around your parents are deff less noticable. But eventually they will find out so keep that in mind.

Also, I went to get my bellybutton pierced with someone over 18 and they still wouldnt let me because he was not my parent, so you may need to either wait till your older or convince your parents. If either options are too difficult then find a friend who is a pro piercer and willing to do it without your parents consent. That's basically what I did because my best friend who is 19 works as a proffesional piercer who does my piercings for me. It's also 10 times safer that way, and less painful.

It depends on what your parents are like; if they're super stict, or really observant, than I suggest that you wait until you're old enough to do it on your own. Conversly, if your parents aren't that observant, or you don't think that they will pay attention to your lip, then try to find someone that will go with you or do it for you. Just one piece of advice: DO NOT try to pierce your own lip!!! I understand with piercing you ears with a pin, but if you do that to your lip, and it gets infected from the pin or something, then you could get poisoning and get really sick.

I dont knoe im trying to let my mom get it pieced fcr me but she wont let me so I justpieced it by my selh and no it did not hurt
but I had to take it out for school so it closed but evey one say it was cool and loed it on me
but im tring real hard to get my mom to go get it done for me(but she wont because she dont love me lol j/p)

I had the same problem, I had my gauges down to a 2 when she finally noticed and she HATED THEM, so I made a deal with her that I would take out my gauges if she let me get my monroe pierced.. she agreed and what she doesnt know is I started gauging out my ears again haha soo I win =]...try that before going behind your moms back and doing it yourself or something stupid like that.

if you just now have a 14G, you really need to hurry up. I gauged (stretched) my ears from a 18-normal piercing to a 00G in a year. Change them every month
I know everything there pretty much is to know about them
and piercings, w/e just wait a lil. make your mom know how much you like them

or you shouldnt get them
I went through all this its not worth the time
