I promise, one day, I'll make them all proud.

I want to fall to sleep tonight,
My mind to just switch off without a fight.
I want to be able to close my eyes,
Shut off the world for some time,
And say my goodbyes.
I can see your disappointment in...

Alcohol, cigarettes and ectacsy.

Let me make everything right,
With a simple sorry, will it turn darkness to light?
Let me make you proud,
Let me scream out 'I love you' so loud.

It isn't your fault I've turned out like this,
I can't sleep anymore without you giving me a goodnight kiss.
I promise one day I'll turn things around, onto the brighter side,
Tie my worries up by the sand, and wait 'till tide.
