Interested in modeling how to get started?

Ok. I am very interested in modeling.
I am 15 years old, and its kind of a dream of mine.

Does anyone know how to get started?

wow. hbvb002...have you never heard of a plus sized model? they dont have to be talll or pretty or skinny. because some curvy models can beat out any size zero ones any day, whitney won ANTM and she was plus size it desnt matter what sizreu are as long as you are dedicated and really want it! and there is no height require meant to model so I would really a preiciate it if you would re-check your sources and stop stereotyping.

Hmmm...how to get stated, well if you live in the NY area or any where near it seventeen magazine has open office hours where you can go and they may ask you to model in there magazine and thats always a strt. you should check out their website, seventeen.com. but try to look up modeling school sand start there, you may also want to try xompetitions or just regular photos/agencies, if it is truly somehting you wan t to do than nothing will hold you back

get some pictures taken. professional pictures. then get an agent. then live the dream.

yea, so how tall are you and your weght? sry not trying to get personal lol! but models are usually 5'8-5'11. and they are usuallu VERY sknny. like dress size 0-4. and I thnk 4 is pushng it. but it depends where you live. and waist is usually and the 20's. but you need to find a local agent. where do you live?

I am only 5'5 but I have seen some short ones before.
I weigh in around 135, With quite a bit of muscle.
I live in Ohio.

I am starting to model.Here is what you do. Find a modeling school like John Casablancas(that's where I went) and set up an appointment. If you pass the interview, they will tell you about a 20 week course. You will have to pay a huge fee. Close to $3,000. After that you graduate by performing on week 20.After that they will tell you how to get an agent. Set up an appointment with the agent. You will have to perform anddo a lot of paperwork. You must do the paperwork. It might not be in those procedures. It might be the same if you go to John Casablancas. Look it up.
