***In 1Corinthians 6 vs 9,10 it is very clear on who will not be getting into Heaven. ' Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived, neither fornicators, nor idolators, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor coveteous,nor drunkards, nor revilers,nor extortioners shall inherit the kingdom of God.'

Don't lose hope though. God, through His Son, Jesus has given us all the opportunity to avoid missing out on Heaven. We must be born again. Repent and turn from our wicked ways. That includes all of them! It doesn't mean we are going to be perfect but it does mean that we can have a bonding eternal relationship with Christ instead of eternal seperation. ***

Right, I find it sad how people will read this section of scripture to protest homosexuality, but the fail to notice the next section:

'And such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and in the Spirit of our God.'

If you think homosexuality is a sin... fine. But its no greater a sin than ANY sin YOU have commited. And its NOT YOUR CONCERN to scrutinize others. Try reading Matthew 7:1-5

no... it does not say anywhere in the bible or any other religion that homosexuality is wrong... it was never 'said' by jesus ether... you have nothing to worry about... just live life as it comes and have fun... dont worry about all that other crap

I am sorry, but, typhoon is very very wrong... the bible calls homosexuality an abomination.. which is very strong words indeed, stronger than for any other sin... God did not create man to be with man, or woman to be with woman, sin entered and led to this, however, a person can change back to the original plan, and ask for forgiveness.. There are churches now that accept this, but, it goes completely against what the bible says. If you want to go to Heaven, you will have to repent, and turn away from the sin, and God will receive you, he will provide the help that you need, and the strength to do this, if that is what you desire.

silverwings... dont tell people what they 'will have to do' to go to heaven...

dearest... you do not know...
you are NOT God...

even though homosexuality is against God's word...
don't tell people what they 'will have to do'

God will ALWAYS receive you.
If you've accepted him as your Lord and Savior..
He's your father...
talk to him about it..
You'll find your answers there...

God bless...

and goodluck.

Well the Scripture says:
Rom 1:26 For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature;
Rom 1:27 and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error.
Rom 1:28 Since these people refused even to think about God, he let their useless minds rule over them. That's why they do all sorts of indecent things.
And if you want the KJV
Rom 1:26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
Rom 1:27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet.
Rom 1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
Sounds like Paul gives them a pretty good chance of it. So there is more to it than just acceptance. . . We must obey the scripture also.
and in truth Silverwing's Statement was correct in her statement. Jesus himself says the way in narrow. . . People seem to confuse this with a one way superhighway at times. . . 100 lanes going into heaven and 6 going the other way. . .

But, it doesn't stop there. God destroyed Sodom and Gamorrah because of the wickedness in those cities. The rampant and open homosexuality was everywhere in those cities. It wasn't just homosexuality but sin of every sort was more than the norm. Also, the people of Nineva were bound for God's impending judgment because its sexual sin.

God is a loving and forgiving God. Live your life for God and be nice to everyone. Only God can decide at the time if you are going to heaven or not. Doesn't he want you to be happy?

God being pure cannot even look upon sin - man, even in his very best state is a sinner - on judgement day, either: your sins are covered by the blood-shed sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross (salvation and only salvation - being a nice person isn't good enough - even at our very best, we are but filthy rags), and remembered no more or they are not (your sins are not covered) - where God's great love comes into play is, He provided a WAY (Jesus) for us not to perish and live in Heaven with Him (He certainly didn't have to do this but did because He loved us so) - if you read carefully John 3:16, this is exactly what it says - each person will either accept or reject, you must decide for yourself - He wants you to accept Him.

The Lord Loves the Person, but not the Sin. The Lord is Gracious and Loving, and that is why he gives us free will. We must choose the right way to live and the absolute only way to choose is by going to God's Word. Yes, the Divine truth that is above any doctrine and holds the Supreme power to unlock the Riches of Heaven!! So by going to The Word we can see that homosexual behavior is wrong. If we first take a look at the entire ch. of Leviticus 18. The Lord shows every sexual behavior that is a sin!!! And yes homosexual acts are in this chapter. If we then look to Romans ch. 1 : 24-27. This explains how through the acts of disobedience we can be given to the lust of our flesh; women with women and man with man. Again revealing the sin of homosexual behaviors. Jesus does say to us that we should not be given into the lust of the flesh. Meaning we must live with our spriritual eyes and seek the truth through Jesus by reading the Word and Praying. Sex in a marriage between one Man and one Women is a God given Gift. We must hold on to this God principle or our marriages and relationships will fail misserably!!!

Yes that's true, Capt., and I then said that it didn't end there. You've read my posts from before and I don't take things out of context. I compare other parts of scripture with the verses being used and also use or read the whole chapter before, or ,and after to make sure that what I use is what was being relayed from the passage. People, will often use the bible to fit their own needs and disregard parts of it to avoid topics or enforce their own agendas. I won't and don't. My hope and prayer is that the light of God's word would shine in the hearts of those who read it and come to repentence. Myself included. I'm falliable and imperfect just like everyone else and I need to grow and learn as well.

Thanks. As mentioned before people need to understand what they quote, why it was quoted and to whom. As well as a complete understanding of the context by cross referencing with other scriptures. People have a bad habit of quoting that the bible says, ' thus and so', without understanding the underlying perameters of the passage and thus misinterpretation occurs.
Christians need to actually read their bibles instead of using them as paper weights and decoration. The walk is long and the road is trecherous so we must be fully prepared to stand and give account to those who ask.
Again, thanks for the kind words.
