Aetheist friend had cancer does this mean she's going to hell

Okay so my friend is athest and like she did every good like she acted how a christian should just didn't believe in god and now she had cancer does this mean she's going to hell now??? Please help???

Lol. Seriously? Supposing you are right, and there is a Christian God, do you believe in a God that would condemn a person for being wrong about their religion? But would allow a child molester into heaven simply for believing? And if you do, I'd rather be in hell...

everybody can gets cancer it has nothing to do with religion and doesnt mean they are going to hell. people who are very very religious can get cancer. its just a gene they are born with.

In this day and age, having cancer is not a death sentence. If she was a friend before, she is still a friend, and she needs your (non-judgemental) help even more now. Stand by her

God is real in my life, but I would never push religion or spirituality on anyone. Nor would I say that anyone is going to hell...that is for God to decide. I do believe that having faith in Jesus at the cross is a one way ticket to heaven though. God would never condemn anyone, but does have the abilty to give grace and mercy. God can heal...God also has a reason and a will for everything that He does or allows to happen. We can't always see it right away, but we should always have faith that He will eventually show us why He allowed something to occur. We should just have faith and leave the rest up to God. I would pray for your friend that she will at least open her heart up to God and get rid of self pride. God asks us to come to him with an open heart and without pride. We may never know what is in someone's heart and whether or not they have accepted Christ, but we can always say a prayer. God is not limited and never be afraid to ask BIG!

I am a former athiest. She lived a good life therefore she will be rewarded. Weather you believe in Him or not, He is always there. I honestly believe that He is with her now, and that he will lead her to eternal paradise. Nomatter what we are God's children, his creation, and we all have free will and a purpose. He will not leave her side especially in a time of trying and pain. She will be rewarded for her good life here on earth. I believe it with all my heart.

God does not condemn us for our choices, weather they or good or bad, he leads us through them. Even as you feel as if you are alone in the dark, the Lord is there right beside you holding a candle.

we dont get into heaven for being good or bad.

besides. what we humans think is good or bad could be just our carnal judgement. to God our good isnt good enough.

living a good life wont get you into heaven. in the bible Jesus made that clear. that you cant...deserve..salvation. you cant EARN it.

therefore when God is accepted into your heart, he forgives you of all your sins, and you dont earn salvation, but are granted it as a gift that you dont deserve.

it is very clear and Jesus made it, that the only way to eternal life is through him, to accept him, and be his friend, to have a personal relationship with him.

even if in your eyes your friend is a good person, they have DECIDED to not try to seek what life is all about, to not ask questions about where they came from. to not seek if there really is an eternal life, a hell, and especially, a creator. it has been her decision, and accepting Jesus Christ has been an option in her life im sure.

so if your friend is to die today, or anytime soon, and has not accepted Gods gift of salvation...as sad as it may be...your friend is basically choosing her path, whether she believes in it or not. its not always about believing either.

just question your own existence. once you die, do you really expect the person that is living your life right now...to just disapear to never return.

let me make this an example.

Last week I bought a bag of MM's. I ate them. they were delicious at the time.
but that was last week.
now what if in present time, I forgot I bought a bag of MM's. because I cant remember I bought them and ate them, its almost as if it never happend.
if I cant remember the taste, its as if I never tasted them.

its like when you pinch yourself, seconds later, the pain is gone. you cant really remember exactly what teh pain felt like. sometimes you cant even remember the pain. so did you ever pinch yourself if you cant remember???

now why these analogies???

She will go to hell if she dont change her life around. Theres only 1 way...God's way. And you have to believe.

If you would read your Bible it says that we are all sinners from the moment of birth. From the fall of one man and one woman. Therefore they were cursed and so was everyone from then until the end. That was the whole point of sending his Son. So there is no such thing as an innocent person.
