You can not move out from your parents home and guidance until you are 18 years old. You need permission from your parents to do so because they have to allow someone else to become you're legal guardian. They also have a say over you're baby, and custody.

in every state in the U.S., if you're under 18 you're still considered a minor. the only options you have, legally, is to have yourself emancipated from your parents or get their permission.

A ring and a date, would do it or an approved emancipation order from the Court or 18...

CALIFORNIA LAW:

Age of Emancipation: a person under the age of 18 years
Cal Fam Code § 7002; § 7122
Age of Majority: 18
Cal Fam Code § 7002

Yes, you absolutely can. You must go through the court system (Civil). More than likely you will have to hire a lawyer. And get an emancipation. When doing this, make sure you have a stable job and can prove that you will be able to support you and your child. (But remember -- living on your own entails much responsibilty). So hopefully your family will help support you and your decision. Good Luck!

Your Family is with in it's legal right and even if you do seperate your self from them they can still gain control of your Baby until you are 18. the only way you could fight this is if the father is 18, and if so your family can file rape charges on him and still retain control. . . your better off staying their till your 18 and biting the bullet.
