people get burned out on them. I didn't hate the jonas brothers until every other question on funadvice was crap like, what's the jonas brothers' phone number? or how can I meet the jonas brothers? or how do I get backstage passes to see a jonas brothers concert? this site got inundated with jonas brothers crap, and people got tired of hearing about it. -so they started complaining that the jonas brothers suck. top this with the fact that almost every jonas brothers questions were one of the aforementioned 3, indicating that people that like the jonas brothers are idiots, ergo the jonas brothers themselves must also be idiots. and what do we do to idiots? -we hate them. hope this helps...live the dream.

yes, I HAVE heard them and HAVE seen them. In my opinion they aren't attractive, and even if I did like how they looked, it wouldn't matter, cause sound is more inportant than looks for a band. And they sound like whinny 9 year-old girls, how old are you?

I dislike them for the following reasons:

Their voices aren't that great.
They're overrated.
They aren't as good looking as everyone else says.
They think they're rock stars :S
There isn't anything unique about them or their music.
They're brothers in a band together. I'm sorry, but that just seems really lame to me.

The reasons you gave don't support what youre saying. Those are only opinions. You need facts if you are trying to prove a point. Just to let you know you will suck if you plan on becomeing a lawyer or if you have to be on a debate team in school. I am really annoyed how people say they hate them. Or hate anyone, in fact. People are really making the word hate mean less because it is used so often. I don't hate the Jonas Brothers because I have never met them in real life. I have no clue what they are like in real life, so I believe I don't have the right to decide if I hated them or not. But sometimes people who are overly obsessed with them do get a little annoying. But I understand why they would. I like a few of their songs, but I'm not exactly a fan. I think they are pretty good-looking, I guess.
And even though people thought their voices were annoying; one time I was listening to one of their songs and I had to make it repeat over and over again because I loved the sound of their voices. But I also understand why some people might not like them.
Everyone has their own opinions, I guess. To me, I'm kind of like neutral about the Jonas Brothers.

Uh, there seems to be a lot of preteen girls here -.- Listen to me, girls; one day, you all will grow up and some of you might be lucky enough to get acquainted with real music. Your world might be shattered a bit because you'd then realise you've spent all your life till then stuck to listening commodified marketed music which really is just a money-sucking device for the industry, whose heads everyday laugh their way to the bank. I respect that you think the Jonas brothers are hot, but please respect the fact that beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder and everyone is entitled to an opinion; if you can spend all day screaming how much you love Joe and how hot he is, anyone else has the right to say he looks like a troll.

Just like how I outgrew Lindsay Lohan and Hilary Duff, some of you guys are gonna outgrow Jonas Brothers. My cousins sure did, and so did my sister.

Next, if you want to know why people hate Jonas Brothers, there is no main reason; rather, there are dozens of scattered ones (none of which, I assume, will not sit well with you JoBros stans) which I can cite some examples of.

Different people like different voices; some may prefer Usher's or Alicia Key's or Beyonce's; some prefer Johnny Cash's; others may like Liam Gallagher's, Mick Jagger's etc. Please accept that.
Some people might find JoBros' voices very whiny; if you guys think it's hot, take whatever rocks your boats, then.

Great songs
Some of us--especially the older ones--are familiar with songs that have more than three chords and are about life in general or something more philosophical and in depth; love songs are fine, but we can't take such cutesly formulaic love songs too much, especially if the lyrics are cliche and shallow. For younger fans, I guess their songs 'rock'; for those who 'hate' the JoBros, their songs just fall flat.

Uh, as I've said before, these are all bias opinions which differ from people to people. If you ask me, I don't find either of them cute despite the fact that they are around my age.

Finally, note that there will always be backlashes; some people simply hate what is outrageously popular. Some people--hardcore rock lovers--are seething from the fact that girls keep calling the JoBros 'rock legends'; comparing them to the Beatles is just adding salt to the wound. Others are just plain annoyed by the constant stream of affection from mostly preeteen girls in the internet, in the media and even radio for the band.

You can keep spamming this board with all your declarations of love for the band and keep calling those people who try to tell you why they hate the band names, but you can't change others' opinions. If you girls keep flaming the haters, the band would be even more disrespected. Grow up and do the band (and the rest of the world) a favor.
