Doe's anyone know what the harmful to humans compounds are in jet engine exhaust.

Certainly any exhaust contains harmful elements - you should never be close enough to injest these fumes, very dangerous for numerous reasons.

If the jet engine is running cleanly, mostly it'll just be really hot air with lots of extra carbon dioxide. And yes, too much CO2 can kill you.
