Is Whistler or Bachelor a better ski resort? I am trying to organize a trip with a friend who is a pro at skiing. Money is no object, however, the place also has to be a kid friendly, and a beginner friendly place.

Mount Bachelor in Bend, Oregon is far better than Whistler. The winter olympics were held their once, they have about ten feet of snow on a good year, and the resort isn't nearly as crowded as some others. Just thinking about it makes me wish I could go.
