Is tim burton making a new film in 2009?

I read somewhere that Tim Burton is going to be doing his own version of Alice In Wonderland and it will be released in 2009 :D I just want to know if anyone else has heard about this and if its true! I adore Tim Burton films and I love the gothic themes...

he has in them : ) A Nightmare Before Christmas and Edward Scissorhands are my favs!!! xxx
