Is it stupid to make sure he washes his hands?

After my boyfriend uses the bathroom, I make sure he's washed his hands. And if he hasn't, I tell him to. Is that mean, or stupid to do?

No, hygiene is one of the most important things you can have and your regiment as a kid stays with you as an adult and is very hard to change so you are actually doing him a favor.
