Yes straightening your hair damages it. But if you are going to do it, make sure you get heat protectant hair product. But curly hair is very gourges you should keep it that way. If you want it to look better go get some hair product to shine it up, cause curly hair can sometimes be frizzy hair.

buy a chi hair straightener, make sure to get one with a ceramic heating area. It will always be bad for your hair, but it can always be worse.

try using a flat iron, and find one that is good for your hair, there are some like that out there. I don’t know how much it would be to get it permanately straightened, but I know for a perm, it costs anywhere between $100-$300, depending on where you go.

yes it is because your hair would start to breakages off and then you wound not haven’t in hair also it produce split ends so stop straightening your hair take care of it before it try to fall out and wear your hair how it comes natural beside curly hair is sexy you c mine curly I love my hair and you should to and if you don’t you can always get it cut and you don’t want that because it’s just going to grow back longer and longer ever time…

yeah, me & you are just a like! yes, straightning your hair is bad but its really the only choice you have to make it straight…I use a flat iron on my bangs all the time but I also use a heat protection spray, I put it on when my hair is damp then when it dries I flat iron it…it works too! and I hate my curly hair because its to fizzy…im 25% mexican so you can understand how I got curly hair! I flat iron my hair everyday and it is only healthy when I use the protection spray…so your good to go if you got it! :) o…and I have had my hair chemically straightened but it just KILLS your hair literaly…and it dosent last long either probably like a month…then it starts to curl up again. im not sure how much it cost but it was pretty expensive. but its your choice to do whatever you want with it! lol.
