Is it right for me to listen to mcr without being emo?

of course it's ok,you can not be defined by the type of music you listen to..
no one can define you but yourself..
you dont have to be a hick to listen to country,
you dont have to be another race to listen to their music..

mcr is considered an emo band now
but you dont have to be a certain stereotype to listen to certain music
you dont have to be a metalhead to listen to metal
you dont have to be a punk to enjoy the sex pistols...and ect
you can do what you like and should feel free to listen to whatever music floats your boat!

As jello said, not all emo people are messed up. And music is music no one listens to just one kind of music.

listen to what you want, who cares?

Listening to music that is labeled doesn't make you labeled yourself. Though some people seem to have misconceptions about that.

I am emo but mcr are hardcore not emo but people say there emo.I listen 2 them im emo my 'unemo' friends listen 2 them

mrc are alright, they arent emo though, and emo people arent disturbing.
if you like them listen to them and ignore what other people think about it
