Is there a loophole so i can move out at 17?

Asked by 16andwantingout over 2 years ago, 3 answers.

Is it possible to move out at 17? I have a job and go to school and wish to keep going to school and on to college! Is it possible to move out when 17 if I have a steady income , a house to live in and still going to school? I really hope that there is...

a loophole here to get around me being underage.

Check the law in your state as to when you can move out on your own....here in SC, it's 17....if not of age, check and see the requirements to file for 'emancipation'.

Good Luck and God Bless !!

YES!!! of course you can! if you want to but youll have to have a roommate because rent can be expensive even with a steady income becaus ethere are other things youll have to pay for besides rent (food clothes heat electricity ect) Go for it!

Yep.

Make sure your capable of paying rent, or doing what you can to get by on your own. It's tough but since you live near me it might not be to hard since Georgia is a little sad.
