Yeah.
It is.

But if your still struggling with it, maybe you should see a therapist.
They can do wonders.

And if your still being abused, tell someone.
They can stop it.

Yeah some people put on a fake smile and are dying on the inside. But it all needs to come out eventually in order for things to get better.

So it didn't work for you.
It could still work for them.

Just because it didn't do ANYTHING for you, doesn't mean some one else can't be helped.
I personally have been helped by therapists.
And I know many people who have been helped too.
So don't say I'm not telling the truth.
My truth is different than yours.

And if your talking about telling some one.
You probably haven't told the right person yet.

It is normal for an abused person to TRY to hide it, but an expert can often still spot an abuse victim. I don't know how many times I have heard Dr. Drew (of Loveline) spot an abuse victim from their voice alone. It's REALLY weird. Occasionally it's as soon as they say, 'Hello.'

An abuse victim might be able to wear a 'mask' in public, but they aren't perfect, because they don't know how to be that way. They can only try to hide their hurt.
