Ipod shuffle stopped working for no reason help

If you mean it stopped playing your songs,it's either not charged fully or you pressed the Play button before it could fully turn on. I had somewhat the same problem 2 months ago going to my school bus stop,I freaked out but turned it off and turned it on but gave it a few seconds to be FULLY on,it worked from that point on. I have the 1st generation,the easier one to use.

That's just happened to me. My shuffle (2nd generation) doesn't work at all now. It is 3 years old, tho I havent really used it much (just for the gym occasionally). I had left it on by accident for about 3 hours, so expected the battery to be dead. Now, when I connect to my Mac, there is a red light that comes on for a couple of secs and then disappears. I have seen similar probs on posts on the apple website from 2005 but no solutions. If anyone has an idea how to fix the wee thing, that would be great.

Me and my sister both had iPod shuffles and hers stopped working randomly and then a few weeks later mine stopped working. The light didnt come on when I connected it to the computer and it was fully charged before hand anyway, so yes just stopped working really randomly! I know a lot of others have had this problem too.
