Im thinking about getting a puppy

Ok so I work on a ranch with many horses and farm animals. Im hoping to rescue a puppy or dog to have around the ranch, but im not sure what type of dog. Ik rescues are usually mixes but im trying to find a general idea. What types of dogs are loyal,...

good with other animals and easily trained? If you have any ideas that would be great! Thanks!

Second on the Lab. I have a lab. They are in the top 10 smartest dogs in the world. As puppies they are incredibly frisky though :-)
