im adopted and im interested in finding information on my real parents. I know there names I just need to figure out a way to access the information. is there a website I can look up public records for free? does anyone have any ideas?
Hidan, being an adopted child, it actually IS important to know your biological parents, because sometimes adopted children feel abandoned or unwanted, and talking to the parents can help you realize why they made the decision they did. It can also be important for medical reasons.
I would say calling information and trying to get a phone number, or call the adoption agency.
You said you didn't understand, so I explained to you why someone might want to know. If you wouldn't, that's great. How did saying that help answer her question at all? It just made her frustrated. It sounds like your saying that she SHOULDN'T want to know her real mother, which IS rude.
Well then I would try calling your local operator and see if they will give you a name and address. Do you know where they live? You could look them up in the phone book. Otherwise, go to whitepages.com and you can type in their name and get phone numbers.
I read a story about an adopted child who became famous to find her real parents. But that was a story. Or you could do the biological testing which is expensive. Or ask your foster parents about your last name and stuff
