I'm so scared!! does only one ovary work?

I only have a period every other month does this mean that only one ovary have eggs? It's my biggest fear is to not be able to have kids!

That's not necessarily the reason for your irregular period, nor does it prevent you from being able to have kids even if you do only have one functioning ovary.

well every girl is different. the regular period of time is usually 28 days. mine is about every 32 days and it's still not regular because the days aren't ever exact. I never know when I'll get it. depending on how long on the exact days, your most likely okay. and I would ask you if your taking birth control but most likely not... if your really concerned about this then you might want to speak to your doctor about it. however I doubt that this is the case. don't worry about it too much.

or might even skip a month or two and them come back)
if your worried, have a talk with a doctor/gp and ask them to check if your ovaries are functioning properly
but its likley they are and you just have an irregular peirod
and youll still be able to have kids
