I'm being accused of stealing when i didnt do it!

I work at a jewelry store as a second job. at the end of every shift the manager does bag checks to make sure no one is stealing jewelry. so I grabbed my purse before I left and when I opened it for her to check it, there was a $500 necklace in the...

pocket of my bag. I DIDNT PUT IT THERE!!! I would never steal from my job because its stupid, and I cant afford to lose either of my jobs. there is one girl who works there who is enemies with everyone else and I think she put the necklace in there, and now my manager really thinks I was trying to steal!! I was so shocked that I didnt even know what to say when she saw the necklace, and I kind of freaked out and couldnt get words out of my mouth. (I just get nervous easily for no reason) I dont know what to do or even where to start when I go talk to my manager about this tomorrow. I dont want to get fired!

Confront the person you think did it before work starts. Tell that peoson that if see did do it it was a sad thing to do and so on and so on...

There's no camera at the shop? Ask the person who you think did it kindly what was the reason for the trouble. If you just get mad at the person, this whole mess will just get worse and worse until you are really fired. If the boss doesn't trust you or like you, then there's no way out. Don't miss that meeting with the manager of course. I know you are freaked out, but be yourself and keep your head up. Because you didn't do it and you know it.

Is there anyone else that could have done that to you? Ask anyone if they saw her or anyone else take the necklace and put it in your bag. If your manager does not beleive you then that it his loss.

If there are security cameras in the shop, tell the manager to check the videos.
Or just confront the person you thought did it. Bring it up nicely. Dont be like: Hey! Why did you put that necklace in my bag? Ask her nicely.
Please tell me what happens! I'd love to know!

take your manager aside and talk. ask him to watch a certain employee more closely because you're pretty sure it's been happening to others, as well.

also, take this girl out to the parking lot and have a little chat (just kidding) about what will and WILL NOT be happening at work.

If your manager has any doubts, tell him/her that you are willing to take a lie detector test to help prove your innocence.

Yeah tell him you'll take a lie detector test to prove it or just go around putting stuff in everybody bag and then he'll just think that somebody's just doing it to be mean and it will take the pressure off you and put it on everybody then he'll have to fired everyone Good Luck.

well tell your manager to look at the cameras,or ask how do you know I dident or did put it there.I,ve been accused of stealing my cousins bag , my mum accused me. can you beleive it,what shall I do???and those cousins are gunna stay at my house 4 a day,my mum sed to them it was me so what can I do?
