I only took one education class in college and our professor there told us that it is safest to never physically touch students since even the most innocent contact can be misinerpreted or blown into something it isn't.
The best thing at this point would be to tell your teacher that her hugs make you feel uncomfortable.
As a teacher, I don't think that is normal. The best thing to do would be to talk to her about it, but I know that would be difficult and awkward. Maybe you should talk to a counselor at your school about it. The end of the year is approaching, and you won't have to have her as a teacher any more.
you didnt tell about the age difference between you and your teacher.if she is elder much more then you then might be she thinks of you as her best student.as I know every teacher has some of her favourite students.but hugging as far as I think is a normal way of showing her emotions to you.might be these emotions are very neat and clean.
now what you can do is just wait for her next action towards you if that is more then hug or you think that things are going beyond your control or out of limits then you should report immediately.
also note that what are her jestures towards other students.
do discuss with your parents, friends or sister
Some teachers can be a little too friendly with students.
She may be befriending you a bit but, as far as the hugging, I myself have hugged a few teachers but, not all the time. I was mostly the person to go up to the teacher and hug them. I guess what I'm trying to say is, be careful!!
If she continues to give you hugs when you don't feel right, speak to the administration and tell them that this teacher is being too friendly and that she's to easy on me. That's what you could tell the administration.
Anyway, good luck, and, remember, some teachers are like that.
So, watch it.
I recently visited the high school that I attended, and saw some teachers that I hadn't seen in about two years.. a lot of them hugged me, I know that it wasn't meant in any wrong way, it was just a way of their expressing that they were happy to see me.
since you see this teacher every day, the situation is different. if it happens again then talk to her about it, if you feel uncomfortable

I have a question about my teacher.

I have a question about my teacher.
Okay so, I have this amazing teacher who is like the nicest person I've ever met, and she can always make me smile and I can talk to her about everything.
But recently she's been making me feel weird, she's way too easy on me and she doesn't pressure...
me at all with my work. But the last 2 days I saw her, she's given me a hug.. I knew why on Friday but there was like no reason today, and she basically forced me into a hug both times. Today right before she hugged me she just started putting her arm around me and said, Give me a hug. and she just hugged me without letting me say anything. I just felt awkward about it because she didn't give me any warning before she hugged me.
Yes well, I don't really know what my question is... but like, is this normal? xD
