I bleached my hair black hair blonde, but it turned out orange!

I was naturally born with dark brown or black hair. I was stupid and 'lightened' or 'bleached'. It turned out bright orange.
I then bleached it again and it stayed the same. The aim I wanted was to go a dirty blonde.

If you've had experience in this...

area, please tell me what to. How do I get dirty blonde hair? If I dye it dirty blonde now,
will it still be orange? Will it change to dirty blonde?

Please tell me step-by-step how to make my hair the color I want. Thanks in advance.

I had the same problem but my sister who is a cosmetologist(does hair) told me what to do. Okay first off DONT DYE YOUR HAIR AGAIN it'll fall out lol. seriously. This sounds wierd but buy purple dishsoap. PURPLE only. Its used as a toner to remove color from your hair. you'll have to do it daily for a couple weeks though. If your hair is anything like mine your hair is totally fried and dried out right now. Buy some intense therary moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. Also a lot of frizz control stuff for your hair. My hair now gets frizzy when it dries after the shower so I use the frizz stuff then I straighten my hair. It'll take a while. After about 2 weeks of using the purple dishsoap, then buy HAIR DYE of the color you want. No more bleach. This is what I did and it worked so I hope it helps you.

orange is the nattural pigment under dark coloured hair
so if you bleach dark hair it will first turn orange, then the more you bleach it, the lighter it gets
bleaching killd and ruins your hairs healthy however
so it would be BEST to get it profesionally dont at a salon

You might want to try to use semi permanent. And go back to black until it gets right. This did happen to me but I have brown hair with blonde streaks (I'm African American) I tried to dye it black. The streaks turned green.. it was a diaster and it was glossy. so my friend a hairstylist said that I needed to get the Begin brand and it's no mixing.. and use that so I did and it worked. In your case.. Remember it's always harder to lighten from dark hair...

I've got a question... my natural hair colour is black so a couple of weeks ago I bleached it blonde and then put a blonde hair dye over it then about 3 weeks later I put a darker blonde over the top and I still dont like I so this week im thinking of going back to black for my formal by just dying ims cared my hair wont take to the dye or it will just fall out can some please help me!
