I am too young to have a ring on my hand??

I am 17, me and my boyfriend have been going out for 2 years now is it too early for him to ask me to marry him or just to put a ring on my finger??? please help me

Most likely. Why rush to be engaged right now? Why not just get a promise ring first until ya'll get a little bit older?

If it's what you want then do it. Does it matter what others think? But I do admit I think it is a little young to be promising your life away. Like mandyloo said a promise ring is a nice gesture in it self.

well im 16 and my boyfriend of like 4 years proposed to me in november with my dads approval and I said yes. he didnt have the money to buy a real ring so he gave me his class ring. some people look at me weird but some dont but for any who really knows me and him they know that were definately in love.

I would say do what your heart tells you. Are you sure your ready for the responsibity of the engagment? I have learned that he wants to know where im at especially if I dont answer my phone.

Guys are really picky about things when you get engaged. my boyfriend has been living with me and my parents for about year now and he ought to know that I dont do anything behind his back, but for some reason he thinks that I am always doing things.

If theres anything else that I can say is dont do what you think he wants you to do. do what you think is right. go with your gut. be sure that your in love for the right reason not just because of sex.

no I dont think so.. im 15 and my boyfriend is 16 nearly 17 and he hasnt offically asked me but we've already decided whats happening.. am not getting a ring for a while but your not too young :D x

engagement is about trust and commitment. you cud get engaged to show commitment and not marry for years. my boyfriend is going in the marines, am 16 and hes 20 but am willing to wait and we are gettin engaged as a way of me showin him I can be faithful and will wait until he gets out before we take it any further. so.. follow your heart mate.
