This can be a very touchy thing to do, so you need to sit them down and talk to them like an adult. Tell them how you feel and and break the news to them gently.

I did the same thing when I was thirteen.
I just told them that I miss my mom, and I don't get to spend time with her very often, so I want to stay with her for a while.
They understood..just make sure you say it in a way that doesn't make them feel like you don't like living with them.
Just tell them that you really miss her, and you want to try it out.
