How do i tell my mom i need more woman products?

Asked by fau 20 days ago, 2 answers.

I just got my period today and we're out of pads. I don't know how to tell my mom because I also need new bras and underwear. It's really personal and private and I know for sure my mom will make a huge deal of it and then even my little sister will know...

what I'm going through. I have an older sister who has experience, but I'm freaking out about this. I also have a friend that's had her period and she trusted me and told me. What do I do???

This is a really special thing that goes on in a young womans life. Not that having your monthly is the best thing to look forward to every month... but your mom... im sure will be happy to hear that your body is changing and developing into a young woman now. just ask her if you can sit down and talk to her in private. Then break her the news that you have started your period and let her know what you need. It will be a great bonding experience for you and your mom and im sure she will have your back with whatever you need hun! My mom did... TRUST me... I was scared too
