How to re-arrange small bedroom??

My 10 year old daughter wants to re-arrange her 8X8 bedroom so she can get a desk, However she has a 6' 5 twin bed, 2' bookcase, and a 3' 9dresser. She wants to make her room seem larger and much more roomy. She only has 3 useable walls 1@ 10' and ...

1 @ 8' and 1 @ 8'. Please help

get rid of the twin bed, and the book case get rid of any clutter that is not required, change the colour of the room, you'll be surprised what a difference that can make, go for a a cream, white with brown theme. if possible get a bed which has drawers attached to the bed or one that is not too high and not too low, that way her books can be kept in a box that will fit underneath the bed and get a reasonalbe size desk, it should work out quite well.

putting all or most of the furnitue against the walls will create more room
so shed have more room in the midle
you could also draw a squar and thren draw the top weiw of the furniture in it and re arrange it as many times as you like, to see how everything can fit
