How to get to peterbrough from waterloo train station.

I'm meeting my friend in peterbrough to go to this gig and I'm not sure like where I need to go ...
So from alton I go to london waterloo then where would I go... and what other trains would I need..

I'm going by myself so I'm clueless happy

It would either be listed on your train ticket, or you can ask an employee at each of the stops which train you need to board next.

Peterborough Railway Station is on the EAST COAST MAIN LINE so you need to get from Waterloo to Kings Cross Station - and you can do that by tube. Enjoy the gig and I hope the band is good - if not you've gone a long way for nothing - unless you are lucky enough to pick up a nice bloke !
