How to bleach your hair at home..

I know, I know. It will fry and im willing to take those chances. But what is a good way that works to bleach your hair with things You may already have around your house. Im not looking to go out And buy a bleaching kit and im surrently using chlorox bleach and Peroxide and its not working very well on my brown hair.

So any suggestions? Im just doing one streak in my hair, then later putting aqua on that streak.

Please help asap.

Best thing I ever did was start using high lift tint instead of bleach; it’s far less damaging, and a single color process. I use L’oreal Majiblond in 900s (the lightest shade) and get a really pretty icy blond every time. My hair used to break off from bleaching, but after months of letting it recover, and then only using professional high lift tints, it’s healthier and stringer than it was, and doesn’t break much anymore (it only feels a bit dry, which has to be expected.)

Chlorox is perhaps the stupidest thing to use..if you’re using that then you probably deserve to be bald. Read as much information as you can, and for God’s sake get some common sense before you absolutely wreck your hair for life.

yeah…no… you want to friggin burn your scalp off? be my guest…go to hot topoic, or duane rede or any of your local pharmacies, CVS RITE AIDE wahtever… and get a bleach kit. it’s not that expenvie at all and much better than what you’re doing. I have a great salon in brooklyn I go to, well it’s not a salon but they sell all that stuff for cheap. Everywhere I go I get compliments on my hair, I do my own, obviously…My hair is red, but I used to bleach it all the time to put colors in it too. what I would do is get 20 vol developing solution and pick out what kind of bleached blonde you want to be ALSO…there ARE colors that have bleach in them and then they dye your hair whatever color you want all in one step. I did my hair neon orange like that, it was AWESOME now that I work in corporate america I can’t rock that, but I learned enough in my day. trust me, just get a bleach kit.

hello there im a proffessional colourist I know absolutely all the ins and outs of hair colouring. with your situation you have a couple of choices:

1.purchace something known as purple shampoo as it tones hair (bear in mind this will only add highlights but after a period of time light ash blonde all over result.

2.have it done proffessionally will cost around $60-$100 I charge less as my cliets are usually teens.

or 3. this is the absolute best thing to do:buy a pre lightener like (superdrugs own)or (bumble me blonde by tigi) leave both of these on your hair for 1h DO NOT EXEED this will make your hair a very pale yellow then wash and rise and leave this colour for a few days then re-apply the bleach this will make your hair white/platinum then buy a toner like (clairol nice and easy)with the clairol range there are 42 different shades of blonde-take your pick!

any way I hope this was all easy to understand!!!

p.s your hair will go through the following stages before becoming blonde: present-orange-yellow-white so dont be dishearted if it looks orangy it needs more time!

love em x

one chlorox is for clothing only..all it will do is make your hair really dry and your sking really freakin slippery. it doesnt have any color changing affects on hair. not to mention youre probably damaging the hell out of it. you need to go get a bleach kit from a store you can even go to places like sally beauty supply, and no you dont need a license to purchase them. just go to walmart, there is no possible way to bleach your hair using household products, it just doesnt work that way. thats why they invented the bleaching kits
